This book had a great storyline but I was kinda disappointed that Kayla was portrayed as being smart but not smart enough to figure out that the lies she told constantly was why she was constantly running into brick walls and abusive men, the lies were just too much. Also it seems no research was done concerning the schools that were named in this book. University of Georgia is not the same school as Georgia State which is in Atlanta , University of Georgia is in Athens,Ga. Also Georgia Tech is a University and a prestigious one at that and internationally recognized and renowned, So to list these schools and not know their significant information was a turn off for me, even tho this is fiction. However I continued to read in spite of these errors, I wish Kindle books were edited better, to me it's not a good look for the author's with so many grammatical errors and misinformation.
This was an okay read nothing to jump up and down about. Kayla was trying to find a good man, all she seemed to find was cheaters and abusers. She went from one loser to another it was as if I was reading the same thing over and over. However maybe it was just me you'll just have to read it and form you own conclusion.
This book had me interested from beginning to end. Every time I tured the page I was anxious to find out what would happen next. It actually is a testimony of so many young women today. This is a great read hands down.
Kayla's journey gives a realistic insight on the life of the urban woman and her experiences. It was so relatable and entertaining, and every twist and turn keeps you on the edge of your seat. Plus, the author's sense of humor really shines through every page.
Partially Broken Never Destroyed is awsome! This book captures how people can go through many obstacles in life, and still be able to push towards their dreams. It is very encouraging and it is an absolute page turner. I finished this book in about 5hrs, and I can't wait to see what's next.
This is a very good book. It kept me pulled in an i couldnt put it down. Alot of people that have been in an abusive relationship can relate to the characters in this book. Its a MUST READ!! I can't wait until the next book is done.
Kayla suffers a lot of heartache and heartbreak, as she tries to pick up the pieces of her life and move on. She doesn't always make the right choices. It's a good story and the characters have a dynamic way of interacting, and having that touch of unbreakable reality. Life doesn't always go as planned, and there is always the concept of trying to move on, which is harder to do. Good story.I received this book free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
I love how this book touched on all the actions, thoughts, and emotions a young girl deals with when trying to accomplish something great.
